When I created my YouTube video about the amount of team members that I got in a month, the month hadn’t ended. In fact, we are 2 days shy from the end of the month as I write this. In this month, I have gotten 7 members so far!
I’ve grown a team before with a different approach. I hosted home parties, spammed everyone in my social media messenger boxes, and tried to get all of my family and friends to join. With a team of 50 ladies, you’d think I’d be making the big bucks… but that’s not exactly what happened.
You see, I thought that I had teach my team to spam everyone, host home parties (which meant getting tons of inventory for everyone to try and purchase), and message everyone they knew. But they didn’t want to do that! And looking back, why did I?
Everyone was deleting me on Facebook, and I was losing even people I loved because I thought that they should want to join my team. This was my dream, not theirs. My team didn’t work as hard as I did, but why should they? They were talked into doing something they didn’t even want to do. Before you knew it, I quit my first MLM.
Over the next 5 years I tried selling makeup, shampoo, vitamins, books, weight loss, and sadly the list goes on and on. I would build a small team but none like the first MLM. They would quit after some time and I would move on to the next.
I made up my mind that, although I’ve seen network marketing work, it must not be for me.
That of course was until I found something so different.
