Let’s face it 2020 has not been the year anyone was expecting. If it is the year you were expecting then you might need to look into some professional help. Just kidding, but seriously get some help.
With the shutdowns, travel restrictions, and unprecedented unemployment everyone knows someone who has been effected by this global pandemic. Therefore everyone knows a family or multiple families that are struggling to make ends meet, and put food on the table. This is scary times for a lot of people and has a lot of people rethinking how they plan on making money. Not only how they are going to make money but how much money they want to make, and how much they want to put away, just in case.
So, ask yourself these questions
How much money do you have in the bank?
How many months can you continue to support your family?
If you lost your job, what’s next?
Doing research on this topic I found a variety of answers to these questions, but most of the answers lead to the same conclusion. Here is what I found.
How much money do you have in the bank? How many months can you support your family? According to what I found on Google the best answer is enough money to cover 6 months of expenses. So you would simply add up the amount of money you spend in 1 month and multiple that by 6. Here is a quick sample of how to do this.
$5,000 (Monthly Expense) X 6 (Months) = $30,000 (Recommended Savings)
Obviously, if you lost your job most of us could make some changes to the monthly expenses to try and stretch out that money as long as possible. Listening to people talk over the last 5 months I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people do not have that amount of money sitting there just in case 2020 happens.
Like many of you, I found myself looking for the answers to these questions. While I was researching I stumbled across an opportunity with a network marketing company called HB Naturals. The one thing that was most attractive to me was the HB Vitality team used words like ‘Financial Freedom’ ‘Residual Income’ and ‘Financial Freedom Fighter’. Everyone on the team has the same goals, and everyone is helping each other build there businesses. Finding this opportunity gave me some peace of mind that if 2021 starts off the same as 2020 I will be sitting in a better financial situation to weather the Storm.
