When someone starts an MLM (multi-level-marketing) business they may be excited and wondering ‘How much will I make in my first month of Network Marketing?’
This is only natural – especially if they’ve heard some hyped-up presentation where they’re advised to speak to their family and friends who are all excited to sign up, and then their family and friends are frothing at the mouth to ‘get in quick’. Sadly the beautiful diagrams of 3 get 3 who all get 3… etc rarely (if ever) work.
Network marketing is a business that needs to be built up, not a fairy with a magic wand!
Many people make nothing in their first month of network marketing – because they’re busy learning about the products and the business. That first month is laying the foundation for future commissions by the learning in that first month.
Don’t get discouraged by that statement, because I have found a solution…. But I need to set the scene for you with a healthy dose of realism.
So back to the main topic, which was the important question people always ask me. “How Much Will I Make In My First Month Of Network Marketing?”
I think it was Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, an author and speaker with 40+ years of experience in network marketing, who, when asked how much he earned in his first month in a network marketing business answered with words to the effect of… ”I don’t know – because I’m still making money from my first recruit, and have done so every month since she joined me.”
Let that sink in a minute – he did work in the first month with a company, and the customer was so delighted she bought every month after that.
You don’t have to be Big Al Schreiter to make that happen!
That’s the nature, and beauty, of ANY good Network Marketing business.
So if I were to tell you that I made $28.40 in my first month, you’d hopefully (at least now) be more knowledgeable about the business model than to dismiss that as insignificant.
You may not be terribly impressed by that small amount of money – but you would realise that from small beginnings big businesses can be built.
But if I were to tell you that I made $28.40 in my first month – and didn’t personally sell a single product or recruit a single distributor – then you might start to pay more attention.

We all write articles on an authority blog and Google (and other search engines) sends to us people who are searching for answers to their health problems, or people looking to join a network marketing company.
That’s not to say that you can join the team and be lazy. It doesn’t work that way. The more articles you write – all including your own affiliate link – the more likely it is that one of your articles is to be found.
Of course the choice is entirely yours – if you still want to find distributors and clients the traditional way, you’re more than welcome to do so. Because talking about the products to your family and friends is an extremely natural thing to do when you’re a happy customer yourself.
