At the beginning of 2020 my family and I had plans for another great year. We have 3 kids in in High School and we are always busy and on the go. Between all the school activities and the kids hanging out with their friends our house sometimes felt like Grand Central Station, and I loved it. We loved it so much that we decided to have an in ground pool installed this past February. My wife Jaime and I wanted to provide our family a place to relax with our friends and family. A place our kids could have their friends over to swim and lay out by the pool. We wanted to create our own little backyard paradise for everyone to enjoy for many years to come.
We had been saving for several years to be able to make our little backyard paradise a reality. We signed the contract in late January and the pool company had us penciled in to begin the installation at the beginning of March. Everything was great and everyone was happy and excited about the project that was ready to begin, but the excitement was soon overshadowed by the growing risk of the Covid-19 pandemic that was quickly spreading across the globe.
By mid-March I was told by my employer that everyone was to begin working from home to help with social distancing. This was nice because the same week I began working from home was when the pool company started installation so I was able to watch from my new office (dining room table). As nice as it was to work from home I couldn’t get the fear out of my mind. The fear of what was going to happen with my job. On social media the stories about so many people losing their jobs due to the economy shutting down to help contain the spread of Covid-19. Several weeks after everyone was told to work from home I got the call that there was going to be a round of layoffs and furloughs. My fear grew especially as I was looking into my backyard and seeing this very nice yet very expensive hole in my backyard. Fortunately I was lucky enough to keep my job, but I had to let some very good people who worked for me go.
My wife and I started to have some very real conversations about what our Plan B would look like. No matter how many times we looked at Plan B the outcome never looked as good as what we wanted. That’s when I started doing some in depth research on how I could make a little extra money on the side to help build our savings to provide that cushion we would need if we ever had to move onto Plan B.
I wanted to find something that I could do from home and on a flexible schedule. The last thing I wanted was to be too busy to enjoy the backyard paradise that we were working so hard to build. After laying awake for many nights doing online research on different opportunities I finally came across something that really caught my eye.
I found a network marketing opportunity with a company called HB Naturals. This wouldn’t be my first go around in network marketing but my hope was this time would be different. As I further researched this opportunity I found the HB Vitality Team. After a little more research I signed up with the HB Vitality Team. I loved what I saw and the business model the team had was designed with the success of all team members and not just making the teams core leadership.
As I sit here today and look back and reflect on this story of how I got started with HB Vitality I can’t help but feel extreme satisfaction on the decision that I made. My business is growing and along with growth I’m seeing my monthly income grow as well. This is definitely the Plan B I was looking for. Growing my wealth so my family has the ability to weather any storm that comes our way.
